Born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida, Dawn Alane attended International Fine Arts college for illustration & design. While in school, she was introduced to the world of fashion & print modeling as well as commercials. Over the years, she has graced the pages of numerous magazines, catalogs, and advertisements including German Vogue, Cosmopolitan, and Vanidades. One of Dawn’s most memorable shoots was for the cover of the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s album “Mother’s Milk,” voted one of the Top 20 Sexiest Album Covers of All-Time.
After many successful years in the “industry”, Dawn decided to take some time off to start a family and had her daughter, Madison. Some years later, a whole new chapter was in the works. She began what would be a life changing event… by taking a yoga class. This lead to several yoga certifications from many renowned schools & instructors which lead to several years of teaching as well as designing and patenting a yoga product. This grew into starting a company called Dali Mama, Inc. and designing many more beautiful yoga accessories that were featured in Daily Candy, Swanky Moms, Coast Magazine, Natural Health, Vogue, Yogi Times and more.
“Once an artist always an artist….”
All this has been the path that has lead Dawn back to her “artist’s roots”. She is currently pursuing her BA in Fine arts, majoring in sculpting.
